Intaglio - Drypoint Etching

Vixen was developed from a reference photo of a Red Fox by Ronald Doucette. I chose the intaglio technique of drypoint etching, as I wanted a delicate, illustrative effect for this piece. It is printed on Kent Printmaker Paper with Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Etching Ink (Carbon Black). I did a limited edition of just 6 and this is number 4.
