Acrylic and dry mixed media on a wooden cradled panel framed in a solid oak float frame. The work is inspired by the Cheshire Peaks & Moors, close to where I live. The work has a contemplative aspect which is reflected in the pieces of written collage incorporated into the painting.

Acrylic & dry mixed media on box canvas. In this piece I wanted to capture the yellow glow of moorland gorse alongside the low hanging lilac clouds. A combination of thick and watery thin acrylic painting was used to add a sense of atmosphere. Large palette knives and brushes were used and I worked quickly and spontaneously.
