A lot of my inspiration comes from the city the smal marks and cracks/paint/graffiti and the shadows of the city. These create there own pictures. My use of photographs and collage come together to create an image.

I also have an interest in marks and sculpture of ancient civilizations which feeds into some of my work.

IHave done two courses with the Open College of Arts - Printmaking and Textile Design this when i first became interested in Tapestry Weaving. I then went on to do workshops with Fiona Hutchison which inspired me to pursue the art of warp and weft.
